USA Hockey "Try Hockey For Free" at the LoConte Rink, Medford is scheduled for Saturday February, 2025 at 12:00 PM.

Boys & Girls Ages 4-9 from Medford and surrounding communities who would like to try hockey for free can be registered through USA Hockey by going to their website: www.usahockey.com

All participants will receive a free USA Hockey "Hockey Jersey" and free "Hockey Stick" for participating.

Required equipment is a hockey or bicycle helmet, hockey or figure skates, warm clothing and winter gloves. Participants must be able to stand up on skates and get up off the ice unassisted.

This initiative is a joint effort between USA Hockey, Massachusetts Hockey and Medford Youth Hockey & Girls Hockey to bring families to a local rink and observe the on-going organized Learn to Skate and Development Clinic programmed Fall/Winter on-ice training sessions.
